Datawind manufacturing defect not solved – very bad experience I have ordered for Ubislate 7+ in 2012. In January 2014 I got a Call from Ubislate about a offer they have for those who ordered earlier. They explained the offer & I asked them to call next Day. Next day again I got call from them and I ordered for Ubislate 7CZ for 5,799. I received the device within four days of ordering. I was surprised and received the device. Once I received the device I saw there was a manufacturing defect in the device. The Display of the device was not properly fitted and I can see inside part of the device. Very poor quality hardware finishing. I called Datawind and raised a complaint. They told me to give at nearest service point. I went to Bangalore – Jayanagar Service point, he told they will not receive the device. Again I called Datawind and they sent me a Job sheet and told they will replace the device. I sent the device as per their Job sheet to their Amritsar Address in DTDC on February 04, 2014. They confirmed that they received device on Feb 8th 2014 and will dispatch the device as soon as repaired and denied to replace the device or cancel the order. Now my compliant no. 0204KT2424 is shown closed in their website and no updates from their side and they are not picking my call in both of this no. 0183-25813330 & 0183-2581330. Please help me in this case.
