Undue data usage charge by Reliance Communications

I am using a post paid mobile connection from Reliance. I was on a overseas trip to the US from the 29th March till 10th April. wherein I had activated international roaming before I left for US. My international roaming was deactivated on the 9th April by Reliance without any intimation to me. My unbilled usage was showing as Rs. 3348 as on the 10th April. when I returned back to India on the 10th April, I contacted the customer care and I was told that due to excess usage beyond the credit limit I will have to clear the outstanding amount which they said was over Rs. 7000. I approached the Reliance webworld in Sion, Mumbai on the 14th April and paid them the charges they showed as excess and then Reliance activated my STD and International calls. when I received my monthly billing, I saw that Reliance has charged me for data usage on the 9th April for Rs. 3289. how can they charge me for data usage when I have never used data while roaming, most importantly when they have actually deavtivatd my international roaming? I filed several complaints over customer care, including Reliance webworld at Sion, but there is no resolution so far even after many followups. Anand Iyer
