Unicorn Services – Defective Macbook Air

I bought a 13 inches Macbook Air from Unicorn Services, Apple showroom in Andheri west and in a short duration of a month 1. The keyboard had problems. A key would type itself continuously. 2. The laptop went dead for sometime. It turned off on its own and wouldn’t start up for about 15 mins. I requested Apple tech and customer care to replace as it was too soon, too expensive for it to be faulty. Also because both the issues did not show on their hardware diagnosis. They decided to decline and gave me an option to reformat and replace keyboard. I am a writer and my work is based out of my laptop, it is my lifeline so I had to succumb to the option and agreed. They replaced the keyboard and reformatted promising it wouldn’t happen or they will replace the piece. Now today again, my computer went dead. i was in the middle of a script to be submitted and suffered terribly. Ran to the apple tech and he informed he will again perform a reformat because they can’t replace it and they have no reason why this is happening. In a new computer, within 4 months facing such problems and having parts replaced and reformatting is traumatic! We pay more for a brand and its service, I am being dictated to run to technicians, be on phone with cust care for hours and get some part or the other replaced. It is absolutely tiring, disheartening, traumatic and most of all my work is suffering!

I want an immediate replacement of this laptop with a new sealed unit and an apology.
