I had purchased one Usha 812 T Heat Convector (Black) X000AH44TJ dated 17.12.14 through online purchase of Amazon.in The product is Sold by Olympia Industries Ltd, the invoice no. being HR-DEL2-137333431-276480. The same was working fine till 03.01.15. The same has stopped working from 04.01.15. The product is within the warranty period. Ordet ID : 403-0910262-1071558 Initial Complaint No. registered with Usha is 15010700057. I had mailed to Usha on 6th Jan 15, again on 9th Jan 15 since no one came from the company to attend the problem. Then a representative from Usha came and told the product is irreparable and you ask for a replacement from Online seller Amazon.in. When I talked to Amazon.in they told they require a Dead On Arrival Letter from Usha to replace or refund for the product. The same thing was communicated to Usha and they once again registered a complaint No. 15011302504. I sent one more mail to Usha dated 12th Jan 2015 and again on 13th Jan 2015. Till that time there is no response. I am unable to use the room heater during the winter
The buying price was Rs . 2349/- The product was brought on 17th Dec 2014 and it was out of order by 3rd Jan 2015 within few days of purchase. It was brought to counter for the winter cold in North India where it is very cold. Hence, immense inconvenience was faced by me and my family in the cold winter, since I have a child of about 9 months. We had to adjust somehow without this room heater for which I had spent money.
I had requested for repair or replacement or refund for the product so that it can solve the problem. But there is a breach of trust laid on the company and it is a harassment to me both financial and mental. I expect such harassment does not occur to any other consumer and the legitimate compensation should be paid to me by the company for this negligence.
