I had registered for DND service about 2-3 months ago and 2 days back I get a call from 02040152900, (Pune vodafone office) Caller name – Deepak, informing me that my validity is expiring soon and then tried selling me a package. Upon my questioning as to if this call was for information or was it a sales call, the executive initially said it was for information and still tried his best to sell me some Rs 19 package but then later said, ”This is half information and a half sales call”.

I have registered a complaint in vodafone through 111 and they said they will get back to me.

I want to know what is the company’s liability in such case. As I have registered for DND, I should not get any call from the service provider for any reason whatsoever while I am using the service without violating the terms and conditions of the company..

I need legal advice here.. Somebody please help me.
