This is a true case where a customer gets sandwitched between two comanise who are in denial & fail to understand the issue. I had recharged my Vodafone prepaid mobile on 9th Aprl/14 through online payment from my ICICI Bank Account. The recharge didn’t happen. I again recharged on 10th/Aprl/14. The amount of Rs.1000 got deducted twice but recharge happened only once. Vodafone says that it received payment on only 10th/Aprl/14 but ICICI Bank says that it paid twice to Vodafone. I contacted Vodafone first at different touch points, twitter account & registered a complaint at their Delhi nodal centre. They simply deny having received 9th/Aprl payment. I also registered complaint with ICICI Bank. First they didn”t respond then sent a one line answer that they have done both payments to Vodafone. Now where does a customer go in such a case. What would have been the plight of a customer If it had been a bigger online payment? Neither of the company has given satisfactory answer. Vodafone Ph.
