I applied for portability of my Vodafone number (i.e-90035XX064) to Airtel postpaid around 25th feb. I got a conformation of portability on 2nd march 2016.I did verification call at 7AM in the morning on the same day. I was informed that within 4 hours my number will get activated but till now (7th march’16)I am waiting my number to get activated. I called customer care multiple times and talked even to seniors but nothing fruitful happened ,they gave my only consolation and new timeline for resolution.

As the number i ported is my official number and the same has been circulated to all my seniors colleagues customers family and friends. No one was able to contact me. i dont know how much i have lost. Being the financial year end as my boss was not able to contact me he warned me that i will get less rating which is going to have direct impact on my career(monetary as well as growth will get impacted). Immediate resolution compensation of Rs 30000 and a letter from airtel head (service) that such things will be taken care in future for at least all those who port there number.
