Voltas – grill of AC damaged service is delayed

a part connected to the main grill of my new AC was found to be damaged. Mr. Santosh from the Voltas team had come to inspect it ON 17TH JULY, 2013 and assured me that it will be taken care of within a week. However, there was no reply from the Voltas team as well as due to a personal emergency, I was able to follow up with them or push them to do it. I had made the same complaint again on 1st April, 2014, with the complaint number: 14040104067. A service engineer was sent to inspect the product. He again agreed regarding the replacement of the same part. However, nobody has contacted me or communicated anything regarding this, from the the Voltas team. Since, then, I have called them several times, but every time they just say that the product order is pending and hence the service is delayed. They have already played the waiting game once and are doing it again. Kindly take some action, so that they start taking some responsibility and don’t cause mental agony to their customers.

I want the part to be changed immediately as well as want some sort of punishment or fine or penalty or punitive damages from Voltas so as to ensure that the product is repaired as well as Voltas be more wary and careful in future, before harassing the customer and causing them to go under mental agony.
