Voltas Split A/C Damage Unrepaired

Dear Sir/Madam,

We purchased a Voltas split AC of 1 TON 123PYA(R)(3 STAR) on 19th of June 2016 from Raj Electronics, Baramunda, Bhubaneswar vide Invoice No-VRM/RTL/CR:-1168. and found the compressor cover i.e the cover of the outdoor unit was damaged after it was already installed by the service technician.

When we complained the technician took the photograph of the damaged portion of the outdoor unit and sent it to all his authorities i.e the dealer, service manager etc. and gave us the commitment that it will be replaced within one or two days. Since then my father, myself, my mother we all requested the dealer, service manager and everybody through your customer care and mobile number many times but nothing has been done till today, excepting some SMS to my father’s mobile and some vague promises to my mother as well, that your unit will be replaced very soon.

Under the above circumstances I request your good self once again to please replace at least the damaged cover of the outdoor unit or we meet in the consumer forum since we have paid the liquid cash of Rs. 27,000/- on the same day to your dealer here in Bhubaneswar who is making false promises to change the cover of the outdoor unit thereby plaguing Voltas India ltd.
