Against my ONLINE Service Request No. 15051900330 dt. 19.5.15 to Voltas ltd. for repair of PCB and change of Sweep motor , in my Voltas Vertis Gold , 1.5 Ton Window AC ( S.No. 4010832/U/07/D/830991, purchased on 7.5.2007), the Technician Mr. Salman ( Mob. 858888xxxx) of their Service Center ( M/s SUPER BREEZE REGD., A-909, Main Road, Budha Marg, Mandawali, Delhi-110092) , fixed the repaired PCB on 22.5.15, against a payment of Rs.1850.00 with three months warranty , but Sweep motor still remains to be changed. The Technician told me that they have placed an Indent with Voltas for the Sweep Motor but Voltas has not yet supplied the part . I spoke to him last on 26.5.15 and he repeated the same . On 27.5.15, I received a call from Voltas ( Ms. Krishna Godrej, Mob. 9873525xxx ) who informed that sweep motor was not available in their store. She further inquired about the date of purchase of the AC, S.No. etc of the unit which I told her. She said she will call me after a while with regard to the availability of the motor. On 28.5.15, she told me that sweep/swing motor was not available in store. She said she will send the Mechanic who will whattsup the photo of the defective motor to her so that she could arrange the similar one. On 30.5.15, on my query she informed that the Mechanic was indisposed. He will visit my house now. She also gave me a Mob. No. 981135xxx to whattsup the motor images. The Mechanic never turned up. On 30.3.15, meanwhile I received a sms on my mobile from TD-VOLTAS stating that my above’ Request No. 15051900330 is resolved, Fee collected Rs. Call 18004254555 for assistance or SMS 1 if happy else 2 to 928952xxx.SMS charge apply ’, despite the fact that Request has not been resolved fully. Such a msg is absurd at this stage, and speaks volumes of highly irresponsible, callous conduct on the part of Votas. The matter has also been brought to the notice of Sh. Raunak Anand , Area Service Manager-East- Mob.9990665993- email- raunakanand@voltas.com, vide my email 26.5.15 and 2.6.15, and also to sh. Rajeev Ranjan – Branch Service Manager..South & East Delhi , Mob. 9999862558, Email ID – rajeevranjan@voltas.com , vide my email dt. 2.6.15, but nothing has moved so far.
They should supply and have the sweep/swing motor fixed in my window AC at the earliest, as per my Service Request No. 15051900330 dt. 19.5.15, which is still pending and not yet resolved.
