Hi, I got an HP Omni Tablet delivered by eBay a month ago which was covered under eBay guarantee. As it was not turning on I contacted eBay and they asked to raise a refund claim. I did so and it was rejected by their claim department after 8 days stating items covered under manufacturer warranted is not eligible for eBay guarantee and so I have to get it repaired. I took it to HP Service center. Since it was more than a week since I received this item, they said no replacement is possible and it has to be repaired. They found motherboard has to be replaced. Next camera was not working. It is in service center for more than 3 weeks. I have lost my money by paying eBay for a defective piece (which is in this case a refurbished item) and my valuable time chasing eBay escalation channels at different levels which was of now use. I could submit all supporting proof to proceed with this complaint. As all the evidence are in the form of email, kindly let me know how to take this forward. Many thanks, Best Regards, Priya.

I want eBay to treat this sale as that of a refurbished product and pay me the rest of money back. Also I want eBay to pay me compensation for all the mental harassment caused through this transaction and related consequences.
