I purchased a Lg Double door refrigerator with order no:OD001520766140445100. According to their website this refrigerator has Smart Inverter Compressor which consumes lesser power. So I exchanged my old refrigerator which was in good running condition just because to save electricity bills. But after a few days from LG I came to know that this refrigerator doesn’t have smart invert-er compressor. I lodged a complain with incident id:141230-016644. A mail confirmed that I will be contacted within 48 hours, but it didn’t happen. On the 3rd Day I contacted the customer service executive and they were asking for a refund of the paid amount and Rs 2000/- for the exchanged refrigerator and told me to cancel the order and issue a fresh order. But the present price of the Smart Inverter Compressor enabled LG refrigerator is around 22000/. I didn’t agree as it is not my fault. Moreover, they can’t send me the old refrigerator back to me. Then why should I spend that extra bucks for a refrigerator with same technology? I want a LG double door refrigerator which has smart inverted Compressor. I don’t want refund as I won’t be able to buy that type of refrigerator with that amount. Even I won’t buy a refrigerator which doesn’t have smart inverter compressor because if I buy it than what was the problem to carry on with my old refrigerator? One of their executive called me over the phone on 9.1.2015 from no: 8042919xxx and assured to give a solution very soon, but never again received any call from her after that. They are playing with our time and money.
