My Bike, YAMAHA FAZER, Vehicle# HR-29-Y-5646, met with a accident in chennai on the 6th of Feb. After Checking the Internet for the nearest Yamaha Showroom, i gave my vehicle to the Nearest RAJ YAMAHA outlet on the 8th of Feb. I requested the person to put the new model parts and was confirmed that they will put the new model parts only. I Had informed them that it will be a one shot payment and not a insurance case. The Dealer’s representative, Mr. Vignesh, Informed me that the vehicle would be returned in 15 to 20 days Max. After Regular follow up only I could get them to provide me the estimated cost, which was given to me as INR 15000. But in this cost they did not included some other parts which when I checked was then included and the estimate went up to about INR 19000. I had to push them on a daily basis to start the work on my vehicle and only after a time gap of 2 weeks I was told that it has been started. Every time I checked the only response I got was that we are looking for the parts. Finally after aprox. 5 weeks I was called to collect my vehicle on Saturday – 08/03/2014, due to some personal work I informed the person Mr. Santosh, that i will collect the vehicle on Monday – 10/03/2014. On Monday when I called then I was given a date for Tuesday – 11/03/2014. On my arrival on Tuesday, i saw that my vehicle is yet not ready and also they have put the old model parts only. I had a big argument with the representative of the Dealer and finally after a 3 hour long argument I agreed to take the Old model parts only. But again the delivery was shifted to Wednesday – 12/03/2014. On Wednesday again I received a call for RAJ YAMAHA @ 1230 hrs, stating that 1 part is still not available and I can come and collect my bike and they will call me again whenever the part is available. I reached the Dealer by 1730 hrs, but still my bike was not ready. Again they took about 2 hours to finish the job. At the time of payment only I was informed that if I pay via card(Credit/Debit) I will be charged 2% extra on my amount of INR 22273. This they called as bank charges. I paid the amount and when I came out to collect the Bike, i saw that they have used Old/Damaged parts on my vehicle and have charged me for the new ones. Again the argument went on. Today is 13/03/2014 and I have not received my vehicle as of now.
I would like to ASK RAJ YAMAHA to provide me compensation for the Ignorant behaviour shown & the Mental harassment caused to me. Also they should remove the Undue 2% being charged if the payment is made by cards(Credit/Debit). RAJ YAMAHA, will have to waive off the extra amount charged over the estimate that was given to me. A written declaration where in they should promise such things will not be repeated ever in the future.
