I have recently moved to my new house. I had a You Telecom broadband connection since over 3 years at my previous house (address: 13, Bhakti heritage, CTS 2548, University Road, Aundh, Pune 411007). My customer relationship number with You Tele is 335882. The monthly cycle was 15th of the month to 14th of next month. As I have moved to new house in month of Mar’2014, I had requested to You Telecom to discontinue my connection and refund my security deposit. I made a phone call to their call centre and explained on 14-Apr-2014. They also provided me the ticket number 2014041400623 for the same. I had clearly instructed them to do the disconnection with immediate effect. After waiting for a couple of days, since nobody from You Tele contacted me, I called their call centre again. Subsequently, I have sent them multiple email reminders as well. On couple of emails, they have responded too. On all times, I was told that a technician will contact me. I had always made it clear on phones as well as in my emails that I should NOT be billed for period after I have requested for disconnection. In spite of all the follow up being done, I was shocked to see that they have sent me bill for period 15-Apr-2014 to 14-May-2014. The bill amount is around Rs. 340. I made a call to their call centre again and made my stand clear again. They only told me that they will get back to me. In summary, in spite of informing their call center before beginning of billing cycle, multiple follow ups (on emails and calls to their call centres), they still have not done the disconnection and are charging me. Kindly note that I have not actually used the connection for internet after 30-Mar-2014.Also, I have already paid the complete bill till 14-Apr-2014. I would like you to intervene and help me in closing this with You Tele and help me get back by deposit.
