Zoomcar – Issues Unresolved – Review

I had booked a Ford Ecosport for my journey from 16th April, 2015, 20:00 hours to 19th April, 2015, 20:00 hours. During this time I’ve maintained the car in the best condition possible and when I returned the car to Zoomcar‘s executive, I wasn’t told about any problems with the car. In fact, I had asked him to check the car and tell me whether everything is fine or not. At that point of time, even the app checklist failed to work. But the executive asked me to carry on and fill the checklist later at home by downloading the app and said that rest will be taken care of. Later, when I downloaded the app, I failed to find the checklist anywhere on the app. But the very same moment it came to my notice that I’ve been charged Rs.1000 for a vehicle damage about which I was not informed while dropping the car or any time later. On calling the customer care number more than thrice, I was told that it was because the stepney (spare tire) was punctured. I would like to bring to your notice that the tire was never used during the entire trip and was returned in the very same condition. I wasn’t informed about the puncture when I returned the car. So there is a possibility that this could have happened after I dropped off the car with your executive. I was also told by the customer care executive that the executive whom I had returned the car to, informed them that I didn’t wait after returning the car and abandoned him which is a completely wrong acquisition on his end. I had called the very same executive as I had his number stored in the call log of my phone and he is refusing to answer my queries and is directing me to the customer care cell. Instead of resolving my query he said and I quote him, “Sir, puncture to Rs. 550 main theek hota hai, zoomcar ne zyaada charge kiya hai. Aap check karlo unke saath!” Zoomcar can’t offer a proof as to the damage was done during the reservation.

To be returned the amount charged, falsely, along with a compensation of Rs. 5000 and an apology from Zoomcar.
