Atterobay – Consumer Review

I was planning to sell my phone in Atterobay. I have placed an order in Atterobay on February 7th for selling my Sony Xperia Dual C4 phone. I got a call from Atterobay on 8th February regarding the process and confirmation of pickup. On 9th February the package packet has been delivered and I have received the same on 10th February. On 10th the pick up has been scheduled through a courier. I have no details who will pick from Atterobay hence I had a doubt in the intial step itself. I had to trust the callers from the courier services as Atterobay informed that they are arranging a courier service to pick my phone. However Atterobay never sends a message regarding the personnel who is coming to pick the phone. Every day I will be receiving a call stating that they are coming for a pickup. However at the end of the day they don’t turn up. They keep on informing within 1 hour the pick up personnel will reach. However I could never see these guys turn up. Just my time got wasted in all circumstances. Finally on 14th afternoon suddenly I got a call from the courier personnel informing about the pickup. I asked him to come and pick up. Here I could see a strange thing happening. Atterobay have instructed me to pack the complete phone and seal the phone. The courier personnel informed me that he has to open the pack and see the items available. I asked him to show the ID proof which he didn’t have at the time of collection. If Atterobay has a similar process then they should have informed me in the instruction that the items have to be sealed in front of the courier personnel. The instructions for that sake from Atterobay is completely wrong if the courier personnel has the right to check before the pick up. However I had handed over to the courier personnel under the instructions from Atterobay. I could get the receipt challan marked with the items provided to the courier personnel. To my surprise I got a call on February 16th from the courier office that they have organized for a pick up. I told them that my phone has been already picked up. They informed if the same has been picked up they shall update the same in the system. I got an email on 16th February that my order has been picked up eventhough it has been picked up on 14th Noon. After that I have been getting calls from Atterobay regarding a lock in my phone. Please note I have never used a lock in my phone. I don’t have the habit of using locks in the phone. I have also checked the phone before I sealed the packages. There has been no lock in the phone. Atterobay personnel told me to recollect if I have locked the phone and informed that he will call after 1 hour. I have never received a call from your staff too. I have called back on 18th February and I was informed that the phone will be send back as the same is locked. On 24th February I have got a message that the phone has been evaluated and there is some network connectivity issue.

I needed Atterobay to send me a new charging cable (original), Stereo Headsets(original) and a screen guard. This is because of their careless and violating the packing procedure given to the customer. Also these feedback has to be allowed in their website so that in future the customer doesn’t get cheated else they have to remove the customer feedback from their website as they only put positive feedback in their website. They have to also pay my depreciation charges as I am unable to sell my phone because of these damages caused to me.

I need atterobay to resolve my complaint immediately else they have to provide me the depreciation charges else the earlier promised amount as per their site. I need the original accessories else I may not be able to sell them back.
