Aeroflot Airline – missing laptop in bag poor service by staff

complaint number 26320 I flew along with two other people in Business class with Aeroflot Airline on 12th December from Oslo, Norway and had a transit in Moscow where we had to change flights for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, I was informed that luggage of 36 passengers who had boarded from Oslo had not arrived. I was contacted a day later stating that due to some unknown reasons , my luggage was not cleared by customs and I had to personally collect it. I reached the airport right in the morning as I had to fly to Pune in the afternoon. Again, due to the laidback attitude of the employees, I had to wait for my luggage for over two hours and finally had to cancel and reschedule my onward flight to Pune. The rescheduling of flight incurred me extra charges. This was still not the end of my misery. On checking my bags, I found that somebody had removed my laptop from the laptop bag along with the case. The seal on the bag put my Aeroflot was intact. I am shocked that this is my plight in spite of flying Business class. I have been told that my complaint report has been filed and I have taken a copy of the same. The airline authorities are not sure if it’s theft or removal of laptop due to security reasons. There has been no action taken till date. As a student, the laptop was important to me and it had important data in it . Also, I sent a mail warning the airline that the laptop can be used for criminal purposes

Either replacement or compensation for my laptop worth INR 20000 complete with an apology.
