Air India – Refusal to board the flight on booked e ticket

1. I have booked a web ticket on 15/11/2013 redeeming Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP) miles of 9500 and online payment of Rs. 836 for Flight AI612, DOJ 16/11/2013 from Delhi (Dep. 1200) to Mumbai (Arr. 1510). The copies of the reservation of ticket AIBE10236749 and booking reference J49JW, proof of payment in account statement and frequent flyer returns statement transactions of account no AI 108151653 showing the reservation are attached herewith. This is an assurance of the service on the part of Air India. Afterwards I have booked web ticket for my family (wife and two kids) in the same flight and same day, so that we can enjoy the travel together. The copy is also attached herewith. The amount of Rs. 17,536 is reflected in my bank account statement. 2. On 16/11/2013, I reached at Terminal 3 of Delhi International Airport for boarding in the scheduled flight. I presented both the tickets to the boarding counter and requested for one row in the plane for me and my family. To my surprise, the boarding counter persons checked my ticket in the system and coolly told me that this booking is not available in the system, hence they can not help. But, for my family’s ticket no problem aroused. They got the boarding passes. I was requesting the crew on the counter to help me out of this harassing condition. By that time, the final boarding call came for my family members and in disheartening mood they left me. In this screwing condition the kids food bag also left with me. And later in the day they were without food. Even in the flight my wife requested for suitable food like milk for the infant, but the in-flight crew straight away refused to give anything to the infant. The family has to be contented themselves with whatever served in the flight. The copies of boarding passes of my family are attached. The boarding counter persons directed me to get help from the assistance booth of Air India available in the airport. In desire of the getting help I approached the assistance booth persons. After calling and searching the system, they told my booking is nowhere available in the system. Then I requested that my family already boarded the flight AI612, they can book a ticket for me in next flight with FFP miles. The person tried and took out the booking reference print for the flight AI441 from Delhi to Mumbai departing at 1500. Even I paid the additional fee of Rs. 811 through my debit card. But due to non availability of sufficient FFP miles the person told me that it is not possible to book the ticket. I made her understand that if earlier booking is not available in the system, then my FFP account should have 10922 miles. But the person told that they can’t help in this as system does not show sufficient FFP miles to book my ticket. This means my booking was done by the system with redeeming of FFP miles. Lateron the person refunded Rs. 811 to my debit card. Here are the copies of the unsuccessful booking at Delhi airport assistance booth and

For this deficiency in service I would like you to refund me the ticket amount of Rs. 10288 (Rupees ten thousand two hundred and eight eight) with a simple interest of 18% and cost of compensation for mental harassment / agony as Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees one lakh only).
