I paid an advance amount of 1200 as cheque while taking the broadband connection. It was informed that the amount paid is one month advance. After 3 months of usage I came to know that the cheque has not reached the airtel office. However the amount was deducted under the name of Airtel from my account. I raised a case #41910276 for the same on 22nd Dec 2013 and has been doing a followup till then. I shared the bank statement from my end and even now its not resolved. every time I call, the response was very poor. I am not sure if the cheque was not received how the amount got encashed from my account. I am writting this here since I have not received proper response from Airtel. Even the customer support service was horrible. they never gave a proper update. Instead used to say that the problem will be rectified in another 24 hours.
I need proper solution on this issue. I was not informed while making the payment of 3100 INR that the initial payment(1200 INR) made by cheque is missing. It was identified later when I investigated using the monthly bills. I feel cheated by Airtel.
