I am a customer of Bharti Airtel from last 3 years approx and using a postpaid mobile connection. I opted for 1 GB GPRS pack for Rs. 125 monthly rent. My usage exceeded the above said limit and it reached 1129 MB approx. The excess usage is approx. 105 MB. I was surprised to hear that beyond this limit the rates charged are extremely high. For example, I am paying Rs. 125 monthly for 1024 MB(which is approx. Rs 0.12 per MB = 12 paisa per MB) and if I exceed the 1 GB limit then I have to pay Rs. 10.24 per MB, which is approx 85 times higher than the base rate. This is truly exploitation of the consumer. It is like that you are getting an item from market for Rs. 1 and after sometime its price reaches to Rs. 85. There is extremely huge difference between both the rates and most important that I was not told about the excess usage rates by the company representative while opting for the GPRS plan. I also requested the company about the above mentioned matter,but they rejected my plea. So, my request to the company is to kindly settle the bill asap. Thanks
