Airtel Not RE-Activating My Pre-Paid Mobile

I had a mobile number (9869535253) which I purchased from MTNL. Due to network issues, I ported it to Airtel. Since I wasn’t using this number, I did not recharge it for few months and it was de-activated. After contacting the Airtel CC, I was told that if the number is available you can get it by going to Airtel gallery. I knew the number would be available because it was a ported number and no one would ask for a particular number which was ported. Also if I try to call the number, it says it is invalid. I got a response from Airtel that, this number has been given to someone. After questioning that even if it has been given then why cant I connect to that number? Why it says invalid? They did not have any proper answer to it. I again contacted their online support and never got any response instead of mailing them 2 to 3 times. Seems like they are ignoring me.

I just need that number either prepaid or billing (For sure it is available). You can dial it and check.
