Airtel Post-Paid to Pre-Paid Billing Migration

I had submitted application on 2nd April 2015 at Dombivli on above address, filled a form to convert the Airtel Mobile Postpaid Connection to Prepaid. Paid outstanding bill of 269 INR with Bill No. 2343. Also paid 110 INR towards new prepaid SIM card Bill No A00002478. I also submitted Photo, Aadhar Card Photocopy (Verified from Original) along with the application. And was told that it would be done in 24 hours, however as of this writing nothing happened and i am still using the old sim card (Postpaid Connection). I don’t have time at hand to chase this folks, so i called on the 121 number on 3rd April and she convinced me that it would be done by 4th April. However 48 hours have elapsed and previous experience speaks.

I shouldn’t be held responsible for any billing that might happen post 3rd April as it is not my issue that they didn’t migrate to Pre-paid. Also i won’t be paying any Postpaid bill henceforth as this is clear delay from their end. I would be traveling and have least amount of time and effort to waste against them, hence i should not be expected to clear any dues as clearly its issue with Airtel. Since i filled my application as requested by their own Service Center person. I shouldn’t be billed if they delay it after 3rd April 2015.
