Airtel Prepaid Complaint

Dear Sir,

This with reference to my prepaid connection 9987392535 having sim number 8991920000164738279. I had purchased this card from Kamdar Telecommunication, Yusuf Bldg,Shop No.4, V. N. Road,Akbar Ali Shop Lane,Next To Music World Shop,Fort, Mumbai 400001. I dully completed the all the required documents required by the Airtel. I had purchased this on 21/06/2009. at 10:48:20 Am. It got activated on 22/06/2009 at 11:47:32 Am after my second visit to the gallery. I got an SMS on 13/07/2009 stating that I need to Re-Verify my prepaid number. I called up Airtel Customer Care asking Mr. Chetan to give detils of Airtel Gallery and requirement of Re-Verification of the documents. He categorly said “Re-verification is not required the SMSes sent is for Government employees please ignore the SMS and rest everything is assured your connection would not be effected”. Today i.e. 21/07/2009 I called upon my number but I got error “The Number is temporally disconnected” But I am able to make outgoing calls. Then I called Airtel Customer Care Mr. Sameer categorly told me “Please Re-Verify and re-send the required documents” After this I sent the required document to Kamdar Telecommunication, Yusuf Bldg,Shop No.4, V. N. Road,Akbar Ali Shop Lane,Next To Music World Shop,Fort, Mumbai 400001. for verification of documents but they rudely behaived with my person and said “The number does not belong to Saurabh Agarwal it belongs to Mrs Mohmaed and hence verification cannot be done” I called up customer care regarding this issue. This time Mr. Shabbir said “Your all your issues would be solved in 24 hours” after listening to my problem and SMS regarding the same would be sent. But so far I have recived no sms or any response. Please look into this matter on urgent basis and resolve the issue as soon as posible

  2. Dear Sir, I have submitted my address proof & passport size photo in nearest airtel office .Even though I am getting msg from AIRTEL in each & every call.My number is 9902326006(Bangalore)

    i was convert my no 9760048588 postpaid to prepaid and i have paid airtel all due amount, i was paid 299 Rs exess, but when i call to customer care for return this 299rs amount, they are said that this amount not to be return,

  5. My outgoing calls and messaging have been barred since 22nd October 2010 without any prior notice or anything. Further when I try to call the customer care my call never goes through and i hear a recorded message saying “Your outgoing service has been temporarily barred due to insufficient legal documents.” I am surprised to see that if i had at all submitted with insufficient documents Airtel realizes that after almost 4 years?? Which clearly proves that i had submitted all the complete documents beforehand without which there would have been no activation of my number.

    I would hereby like to inform Airtel that if my problem is not solved in less than next 24 hrs i would simply stop using Airtel services. Because there was no reason for such an inconvenience to occur in the first place.

    How ever if the problem is solved i would like the Airtel Officials to inform me by calling and explaining the appropriate reason for such an inconvenience caused.

    my mobile no. is 9867677709 i am using airtel from 6yrs.
    Airtel deduct my Rs. 99 at 24.10.2010 00.38 on the spot i call customer care then the person told me our airtel sever in upgradation please call tomorrow then i called 6.30 then the person told me that your balance will add within 4hrs in 2 part (50+49) after ending call within a minute airtel deduct Rs. 75 again then i call again customer care and the person told me that you total balance ( 99+75) will add within 4hrs after 2hrs my account added Rs. (50+49) after this i call customer care and asked them what about my Rs. 75 then they told that your Rs.75 we cant add in your account . they have no any reason for this after airtel customer care add me on there blacklist therefore i cant contact them. it is not first time AIRTEL deduct every time if you recharge above Rs. 100 So Please people don’t use airtel .Airtel doing this for prepaid user convert to postpaid user.

  7. last 3 Days, I try for 12118 Helpline number but Always busy all lines. I require Settings for PC connect through Mobile net.
    PLs. help me and give solution.

  8. i had put three boosters. only 2 boosters are expired on the correct date. one of them was cut to my mobile as wrong. is this your wright service. please don’t do hereafter.

    i am surprised few days back i received a message i am debited for downloading hungama. i never downloaded.
    today i received Hello tunes and charged Rs35
    i never asked for it.
    please dont force me any additional service. more over
    they are making it compulsory by not responding to customer services. Airtel should not adopt such cheap sales technique
    pl dont debit for services which i have not asked for
