I had done an online recharge(from airtel site)on my airtel number on 9th Feb 2014 with an amount of Rs.1000 After making the payment, browser got stuck and the did not proceed further.Finally, the recharge was failed but Rs.1000 was deducted from my account. I tried again for the second time and it was successful. I Called airtel customer care(09937099370) and they asked me to get in touch with bank. I then registered a complaint with bank but the bank said that the payment is settled and the merchant side has received the payment and they cannot action further unless they receive a written communication from merchant(AIRTEL).
I have called Airtel many times and has got different different answers each time. It is really frustrating to call customer care and explain the full scene/scenario everytime, many times customer care executives put the call on hold and never turn back or avoid to listen to the complaint. Finally on 4th March they had registered a complaint(CONRC30304328075) and said that the required amount will be recharged on my number within a week. Now its more than a week but no update from them. I tried calling them now but they making excuses and are not even ready to listen to the complain number. Its great mental torture that someone has stolen the money from My account and I can’t take it back.
I really want my money back with the compensation for all these mental harassment.
