I have Airtel 3G SIM Card. I have a unique Problem. When i use my SIM card in dongle and then if i insert it in mobile it is not working. The SIM – Subscriber Identity Module is not read by Mobile. Also note that other SIM Cards from Vodafone Work So this narrows it down to the problem of Airtel SIM Card Hardware Only.

I request Airtel to investigate this Issue and add this as a Test Case in Acceptance Testing of SIM cards from Foreign vendors of China & Taiwan who dump in Bulk Quantities here. Until you get your processes right, kindly make arrangements for an alternative SIM card that will work seamlessly on Mobile Handset and 3G Dongle.
