Airtel,Connection not disconnected even after my request and bill imposed on me

I was using Airtel broad band and landline service (AIRTEL ACCOUNT NO. 7005597281). I left India on 17th May and before leaving India I wrote to Airtel for discontinuation of the service on 15th May 2013, to which you have replied that the issue will be resolved within 7 days i.e. by 22nd May 2013 (Ref no. 32776590). The same was confirmed by Airtel executive over phone. However due to the negligence of Airtel the service was kept alive till 29th June, I was not even using it as I left the country on 17th May. Now Airtel is asking me to pay bill till 29th June when the disconnection request was generated on 15th May. I am definitely not willing to bear the cost due to Airtel’s negligence. Moreover Airtel’s collection executive went to my house and misbehaved with my parents.

The final bill should be pro-rata till 15th May, i.e. the day I filed the discontinuation request.
