ASTAR Model water purifier – worst service, pathetic customer relationship, fake promises, abusing customers and very costly

The sales promotion person name is Ms. Nandini. I bought the water purifier (ASTAR Model) on 2011. They promised to provide three free services for a year (generally how other companies promises) while they were promoting the product but no service was done till one year. After a year, they gave me a call and said that service is due for my water purifier and if I give them a date a technician will come and attend and I need to pay for the service. I was given an option to opt for AMC (annual maintenance cost/coverage) but I clearly said that no free service was done in one year and if I opt for AMC, the same will happen till the AMC expires. So, I rejected and asked to do the paid service. One of their technicians came home, did the service and charged Rs/- 2000. He also gave the contact number of Mr. Kumar 8190851641. He said that Mr. Kumar is the supervisor and he can be contacted for future services and queries. He also said that the Membrane in the purifier needs to be replaced. I told to replace the membrane after some months. Same evening, Mr. Kumar called me and told to replace it immediately and it would cost approx. Rs/-3000. After the service there are lot of issues with the purifier such as water leakage, back wash button is not working properly, the automatic cut off is not working, and the water flow is not proper, is dripping inside, and takes more than two hours to get filled. I spoke to Mr. Kumar and said that there are many issues after the service and it needs to be fixed immediately. He promised to send the technician to home in one hour. No one turned up to fix the issues until six months in spite of making continuous complaint about the issues. I think they were unable to find that one hour in the six months. Nearly eight months later Mr. Kumar gave me a call and reminded me that the membrane needs to be replaced. I was so pissed off, I yelled at him like anything about this false promise. He promised that all the issues will be solved this time while replacing the membrane. Again the same thing, technician came home and changed the membrane and did some gimmicks and said everything is fixed and its perfect and charged Rs/-2750 for the membrane, Rs/-350 for candle stand, and Rs/-500 as service charge and said its done. Ms. Nandini, called me on my mobile and asked for the feedback. I said it was done well. I honestly thanked Mr. Kumar for fixing things. The same night the purifier started to leak, back-wash not working, lose connection in the automatic cut-off. I gave a call to Mr. Kumar and said the purifier has the same issues again and he promised to send the technician next day. After that, I called him twice, thrice, and many times, but there was no response. On January 23, 2014, I got a call from Ms. Nandini that there is a service due.
