I had booked Fixed Deposit of Rs. 25000 /- in Avon Corporation through HDFC Securities from 22.06.2011 for 3 years till 22.06.2014 through my HDFC bank account. Meanwhile, I received a letter dt. 10.2.13 Ref: CS-Oct-2013-13 from Sh. Pankaj P.Saraiya, Managing Director of Avon Corp. stating that the company was facing financial trouble and would not be able to honour its FD holders. I am sure that since 1 year has passed, the company has recovered and is in good financial condition now to pay its debtors. I have seen lot of complaints against this company online and on consumer forums, which is not good. Please help redeem my FD principal and interest, which I had invested in the company.
