Bajaj Allianz Claim Settlement – Poor Service

To, All Volkswagen/Bajaj Allianz Subject: Accident -9 months old vehicle toppled – Despite of several humble request to go for total loss- vehicle went for repair- Horrible look of the vehicle – pathetic work done – request to replace with the new one or else – we are going to stop the EMI what we are paying to Volkswagen finance & handover to Volkswagen Dealer or Bajaj Allianz for his job . Dear Sir, To make you aware of the details of the incident I am writing here full details from the beginning. I purchased Volkswagen Vento Petrol Highline S.Blue on 6th October 2013 from VW Whitefield Bangalore Reg No KA 03 MS 8678 Sir, it is with great regret I wish to inform that we met with an accident on 7th July 2014 while on the way to Virajpet Coorg Karnataka at 10.30 AM. It is a sorryful affair that I am forced to tell you here is immediately after the accident we reported the matter to customer care of M/s Volkswagen followed by the dealer at Bangalore(Volkswagen Whitefield) hoping that 100% after sales services offered by the dealer will be honored ,but with great apathy I wish to mention while instead of proceeding for assistance to me with whatever facilities they have, the dealer (Whitefield Bangalore) /Customer Care burdened me to send chassis number and other details which I think is not necessary at that point of time when person is met with accident along with family and there is no communication network . The assistance to some extent was provided to me after long six hours after such a deadly accident at 4.45 PM. We purchased the car for 1105948.00 which was insured by Bajaj Allianz for 858990.00 On my repeated request for treating the vehicle as total loss the insurance company has proposed the maximum payment as Rs 6.50 Lacs only while the insured amount is more than 8.5 Lacs The Bajaj Allianz was pressing client for the repair of toppled vehicle through your workshop that is KPR Cars Pvt Ltd nearer to accident point and surveyor was telling the repair cost to be only 6.5 Lacs. & is not crossing 75% of IDV value & giving 100% assurance to customer for quality of repair work, he couldn’t thought of the shape and look of the vehicle after repair and blindly made survey Report . Suryer from Bajaj Allianz Mysore are Mr Abhishek Bhavikatti –Ph no 08861086xx Mr Balaji MS – Ph no 09731397xxx Your concerned workshop persons has exaggerated that THE PETROL VERSION OF VW HAS NEGLIGIBLE resale value hence the obsolete value of the car may not be more than 2 to 3 Lacs after repair Your workshop concern person reiterated that after repair the 100% performance is not possible and in reply to my question they confirmed not more than 90 – 95 % is possible. Now my question is if the Bajaj Allianz and VW both when were not confident about the 100% perfection of the vehicle why they have not gone for total loss??? Insurance company not gone for total loss they insist for repair. Repairer & insurance company spoiled my car ,i want replacement and proper compensation
