Bajaj Allianz – Unreasonable delay process of redemption request

Dear Sir, Please refer my below quoted complain registered under reference Number:55422280 with Bajaj Allainz. I am constrained to bring to your kind notice that Bajaj Allainz has been very unsupportive. I have time and again spoken to them. They still say I have signed some papers due to which the agent has a block on my policy and they cannot pay my amount unless lock is removed by agent. I called on Bajaj Allainz at Phone 01206521538 on 06/11/2014 with a request to resolve the issue. During telcon Mr. Vijay Singhania reiterated that they have no control over agents, he also used abusive language and said that unless I pay security amount of Rs. 10000/ – my policy amount Rs. 145000/- will not be paid. I requested him to provide the copy of documents signed by me at the time of purchase, to which he said documents are with agent and not with Bajaj Allainz and thus copies cannot be provided. May I request you to intervene and facilitate early payment. I submitted the redemption request to my banker in 1st week of Oct 2014. Subsequently, I received telephonic call from Mobile No. 7838319036 on 14/10/2014. The caller identified himself as Mr. Rakesh Choudhary, Employee Code No. 5002 calling from Bajaj Allianz HQ New Delhi. He informed that redemption amount of the policy is Rs. 145000/-and my policy has been locked by the selling agent with his code and hence, 70% of my redemption amount will be paid to the agent. He advised me to pay Rs. 10000/- as fee for removing lock of agent on the insurance policy. He also informed that the Bajaj Allainz does not have any control over selling agents as they are not permanent employees of the company. Kindly provide the following information: (a) Whether the caller is the representative/ employee of the Bajaj Allianz or from a fake caller? (b) What is the redemption amount of my policy? (c) Kindly provide copy of the forms and documents submitted and signed by me at the time of purchase of policy. (d) What is reasonable time for processing of redemption request?
