On January 6, 2015 the complainant availed the services at the DLF Galleria, Gurgaon Clinic of the Opposite Party in the category of Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in the name of Natural Skin Rejuvenation with PRP 1S(the invoice is attached herewith) which is claimed by the Opposite Party to be “an effective service to reverse signs of aging with no down time. Platelets that contain growth factors are used to build collagen ensuring youthful, rejuvenated skin. It is totally natural with no side-effects”. One Divya was the employee in the Opposite Party-Business Premises at that time and she smartly coaxed the Complainant to avail this particular service, assuring that this treatment will cater her need of facial for the next six months. She forced the Complainant to avail the given services against her will. The Complainant was misled to believe that the given treatment was best suited for her skin texture and would make her skin get an “amazing radiance which would last for six months”.

The Opposite Party has opened a chain of Beauty Salons all over the country assuring the Customers with so many promises through their website and other marketing mediums, stating that those treatments would be done through experts and professionals. Factually, it was not so as revealed in the case of the Complainant. On the other hand, they indulge in unfair trade practice by misleading the Customers. To the disappointment of the Complainant, after the treatment, Complainant’s skin worsened and there were red and itchy patches on her face and neck for 5-6 days. Moreover, when the Complainant approached the Opposite Party to recover her skin to normal state, the representative suggested another treatment which was double the price of the services previously availed. The Opposite Party has caused severe physical and mental pain to the Complainant under all the given circumstances.
