I have visited Shell petrol pump (143B, Swamy Vivekananda Rd, Pai Layout, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560016) which is near by Gopalan Mall, Old madras road as my bike becomes reserve condition. My bike had more than 1 liter of Petrol in the tank when I visited, I asked for full tank. He started filling the petrol, and the meter shows 11.38 liter and he stopped. I asked him tank capacity is 10.5 L, how come you filled 11.38? he said, no, you are wrong, my meter is correct only, tank capacity is 12L blah blah… As I was with family and it was about to rain, I couldn’t argue more as he asked me to move out of the queue where more bikers are standing behind. I did check the fuel tank capacity in honda official website. My bike model is Honda shine and the fuel tank capacity is 10.5 L. I already had more than 1 liter, along with that he filled 11.38 liter. which is clearly shows that that Shell guys are fraud and cheating customers. I have attached the picture of the receipt given by Shell and fuel tank capacity mentioned in Honda official website. I used to fill petrol only in Shell ever since I bought my bike for better Quality and Quantity. It’s been 3 years, and I’m not sure how many times I was cheated then. I came to know today as I did full tank. really feeling disappointed and cheated. looking for a proper solution for my concern.
