Sir. With due respect it is submitted that : 1. That Complainant is a resident of Hisar and is a routine customer of your store Easyday located opposite sector 15 A , Kaimary road Hissar.
2. That Bharti Retail has made a lot of publicity by giving Advertisements in Newspaper, TV and on Web and define it self as “Bharti Retail Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cedar Support Services Limited which belongs to the Bharti Group of companies, one of India’s leading business groups, owns and operates neighborhood stores called easyday and compact hypermarket stores called easyday Market. These stores provide consumers immense value and wide choice with products of great quality at affordable prices. easyday and easyday Market stores promise Sabse Kam Daam Har Din and offer an extensive product mix at everyday low prices (EDLP), which are substantially lower on customers’ ‘monthly basket of products’ vis-à-vis similar stores. Inspired by its mission to ‘Enable India Live Better’, Bharti Retail’s goal is to establish a pan-India footprint and become India’s most-preferred multi-brand retailer”.
3. That Complainant regularly go to these stores so that they can get products at Sasta price as claimed by the Bharti Retail(Easyday).
4. That Complainant is going to these stores since long and must have purchased products worth lakhs till today.
5. That On 23.5.14 Complainant visited your store and purchased some goods from your store and paid the bill but later he found that he has been charged above MRP on some of the products that is XYLIT BOTTLE 890139300286 was charged at Rs. 32.24 but the MRP on the bottle is Rs.30, further on another product WRIGLEYS Complainant was charged Rs.32.24 but the MRP on it is Rs30, and when Complainant complained about it to the store manager he flatly refused to correct the bill.
6. That on 24.5.14 Complainant went to one of the store of Easyday situated at Dabra chowk Model town Hisar and bought some products and later he found that he was overcharged and even some of the products were expired the product which was expired was Jeera and the expiry date was 22.5.14 but the product was sold on 24.5.14, and on another product Complainant was charged Rs.32.24 on one product WRIGLEYS inspite of the fact that the MRP is 30 Rs.
7. That on 24.5.14 Complainant went to Easyday store located at Kaimary road Hisar and did some purchases, again Complainant was cheated by the official of easyday by charging amount more than the MRP, my client purchased one Parachute Jasmine oil on which the MRP is 71 Rs. But he was charged Rs. 75.01, on another product Colgate TP Complainant was charged Rs.84.99 inspite of the fact that the MRP is Rs. 84, on another product.
I demand immediate action on the above said complaint.
