BSA motorcycle – Refusal to replace damaged goods

s tank for a BSA motorcycle, when I came to fit the tank it leaked petrol. I have been in touch with Mr Kohli and eventually he agreed the tank needed replacing and asked me to return it to India. I organised a courier to send the tank but they have asked for a Material safety data sheet before sending the tank. I contacted Mr Kohli regarding this form and informed him it was required urgently, he then asked if I could repair the tank here , something I had already suggested however I explained the tank was with the courier and said that if he was prepared to reimburse me for the cost of having the tank returned and pay for the repair it could be done. That was 5 days ago and despite several attempts to contact Mr Kohli I have had no response.

If Mr Kohli no loner wants to replace the tank, then I will have it repaired in the UK, however I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the courier and any costs regarding a suitable repair of the tank. Should you require a copy of the E mail correspondence between Mr Kohli and myself then please let me know.
