Sir, Since last 7-10 days, I am not receiving most of the messages on my BSNL prepaid mobile number 9497582650. I could receive the messages send by TD-AIRNWS (all India radio news service) and those send from some of the BSNL numbers, but I am not getting messages from IRCTC, SBI, South Indian Bank, 53733(this is the BSNL number which can be used for activating STVs and data packs), 1909(TRAI), 1900( Mobile number portability system), Facebook etc. I tried to stop the DND service – even TRAI won’t bar those inforamtive messages- by sending STOP 0 to 1909, but I failed to get the reply. Even I tried to port my mobile number to another using mobile number portability that also resulted in vain. I lodged a complaint on BSNL complaint portal (http://bsnl.sparshindia.com/complaintportal/) on 17/10/2013 (Docket No. J17KL301223) still the same is in open condition. I tried to talk to their coustomer service executive by calling to 9400024366 and 1503 but every time was asked to stay on hold by IVRS and after staying on hold for minutes the call gets dropped. Details of my calls with customer care numbers are as below. 20/10/13 14:40 – 9400024366 – call got disconnected after 59:59 minutes 19/10/2013 12:17-9400024366- call disconnected at 40:21 minutes 17/10/2013 09:51- 1503- call dropped after 32:03 minutes. Due to this problem I am not able to use internet banking facility as I am activated an high security OTP for every transaction and the OTP should be received from SBI on to my registered number 9497582650 everytime. As a security measure I have activated facebook login notifications,but couldn’t receive those messages. Even I am not able to receive recharge confirmations, railway tickets (as SMS from IRCTC) booked over online.
