Platinum Sofa – Sales person is absconding and failed to delive goods

Booked a divan sofa with an advance deposit of rs 5000 with “Platinum Sofa” at Utsav mela conducted at kalyani nagar in August 2013. The contact person Mr “Dinesh”, has been rude and wont reply or call back. Called quite a number of times about the delivery of the goods. Also tried calling all the number mentioned in the Advance paid receipt, but to no effect. Need help in nabbing this culprit and get back my principal amount

I want Mr Dinesh to be arrested as this seems to be a hand in glove operation between similar vendors and Sakal Times. I spoke to one of he organizers from Sakal, requesting help on this issue. The organizer was rather very supportive to the fact that all the participants in there events are clean and they are not cheats. I did not get any form of help from the organizers of the event. I’ve been trying to reach”Dinesh”, but he would either disconnect the phone or switch it off. Also tried calling at all the office numbers mentioned and I was once threatened by one Mr “Rizwan”, saying that, we are not responsible for your Sofa and dont try calling us or else we will make your life miserable. Sakal should be interrogated with the fact that they are not creating exhibitions, they are trying to fill up there pockets with poor mans money.
