I had recharged my bsnl no. 8005089238 with STV for Rs. 164 on 22nd July 2013 from Paytm.com. This was not the first time that i recharged my phone through paytm, infact i m their registered customer and often use their service to recharge my phones. But this stv from bsnl turned out to be a dud and instead of getting the special tariff, i got a topup of Rs. 145 (i do not remember the exact amount). When i contacted bsnl for the same, they placed the blame on paytm and told me that i should contact them. When i contacted paytm, they told me that the stvs can change on discretion of service provider. Still, bsnl was not ready to accept their mistake and told me nothing can be done in my case. Next day, on 23rd of July, i got a mesg that Rs. 30 has been debited from my account on account of some Wap subwapmgreet service 58888 service that i have subscribed for. Please note, i m using a Nokia X1 phone, which does not support any WAP/GPRS feature infact it does not support any service other than call and SMS and i had never subscribed for any such service from BSNL. I immediately contacted bsnl customer care (after much hassel), and was given docket number G23UE301113 & G23UE301120 for the complaint and was told that the amount would be refunded within next 24 hours. The very same day, 23rd July, at around 11.45 pm, i yet again received a message that “You have been charged Rs. 5 for follo.” from the same 58888 number. I immediately rang up the bsnl customer care again and was assured that amount would be refunded and they apologise for the inconvinence etc etc and was given a docket number G23UE304413. Today, when i contacted the customer care, as it has been almost 72 hours and i didnt received any information, nor the balance, the Customer Care Executive was not even ready to look into my complaint. After much pursuation, she informed me that Rs. 30 refund is still under process and there has been no complaint booked for the other refund for Rs. 5. She also told me that i had booked the same complaint thrice. When i asked her to book the complaint for Rs. 5 again, she flatly refused to do so. Madam, i had never felt so harrassed by any service provider till today. It has been more than 72 hours, and nobody at bsnl is ready to listen to the problem. I had faced a similar situation few months back when Rs. 10 & Rs. 7 were deducted on account of the same service which i had not even subscribed. However, they reverted the amount and told me that i had been unsubscribed from that ITIMES service, still, again i m facing the same problem and this time, they are not even ready to give me proper feedback and revert the amount. I feel this is how bsnl is generating income and thats the reason behind their day by day reducing customer base. Please help me in this regard, it is not about money anymore, it has became more of a harrassment issue for me. The way they are deducting the amount without any reason and thereafter not listening to
i would like to get my dues before that, hope u could help me in this case and refund my amount.
