have purchased 30 coupons (100 Rs each) from Cafe Coffee Day, which are valid till 1st October 2014, and acceptable at all CCD outlets. However, on 7 occasions I was denied use of those coupons and had to pay 3000+ rs in cash. Upon repeated complaints, the Head Office Call Centre has said: 1. The back end is down 2. we will send you new coupons But then they always change their stand and say, please go back to another cafe and try and it will work. This only means that I have to spend more money when they refuse to take payment and am harassed and embarrassed before my friends. The complaint numbers they have confirmed via email (because they don’t issue a complaint number on phone and many times don’t send back complaint numbers) are 1. 7569 – dated June 9 th 2. 8286 – dated June 19 th Please take up the matter with them for refund of my money and compensation for loss (3000 Rs) plus harassment caused due to a fault entirely on their part and not rectifying it upon repeated complaints and requests.

Money spent travelling CCD (when out of the way and for the motive that Coupons were already prepaid): Approx. 5000 Rs. Mental Harassment, time lost during working hours and social embarrassment that cannot be reversed without pecuniary damages: 500,000 Rs. total: 5,11,000 Rs.
