I had booked my stay from 16th June 2014 to 21st June 2014 for Gangtok-Darjeeling trip(BOOKING ID IN1405B8S208470). There are some issues which I would like to discuss 1. Hotel Ricasa at Gangtok was very far from city limits(about 6kms) and it was virtually impossible to go on foot to see city. When a family is on vacation we would have loved to stay near the city. 2. The driver between Gangtok to Darjeeling was a young arrogant person, very rude and insensitive. He did not respond to any of our queries. The same guy who was supposed to show us Darjeeling had become very abusive and threatened my father-in-law(this happened because all of us were requesting him to stop for 5 minutes for getting a bottle of water), my father-in-law just gently tapped him from behind pleading to stop (Reply came- “Don’t touch me, You cannot touch me, otherwise you will face consequences.. I cant stop…… otherwise traffic jam may happen”) When a Senior member of our family is mistreated. It spoiled the entire fun of the trip. After all the experiences we had in Gangtok-Darjeeling, Our family has lost faith in Makemytrip. It has been a very good trip spoiled by an awful experience. We have further decided that from now onwards we will not book any Holiday package through Makemytrip.When a family goes for vacation we do not expect such things to happen. Thanking You
