cheated on IPL tickets

We have been cheated by ticketgenie. We had booked 28 tickets for RCB vs KKR match on apr 10th at b’lore, and 25 tickets for RCB vs MI match on apr 17th at b’lore. But none of the tickets came as they claim it is overbooked.

Cheque returned
I have posted a cheque in which payee is my name. There in cheque my account no also specified.
The issue is: My name Thilagamani. But in the cheque my name is written as “Thilaga”. So it got rejected.
I don’t understand why it was rejected. You could have rejected if the name is fully wrong / does not match with the account no.
