I am very regret to inform you that one of our most trustworthy organisation CITI BANK has deprived me. I purchased one jewellary item from D.K Basak jewellary shop which is located on Rashbehari Avenue,kolkata-700029, West bengal and Item cost was Rs10300 on 23rd june 2013. This merchant offered me 6 month EMI with 0 processing fee and 0 % interest on EMI and I accepted ii. They have given me their invoiced and charged slip both are Rs10300 as well as one another document I have singed for 6 month conversion.But the CITBANK has charged 18% interest on this transaction without informed me. I got know while I paid my 1st EMI. I requested to the bank please investigate why the interest has been charged and they assured me. After 3 days they cancelled the EMI, no investigation done and directly debited to my account as liability.My merchant is very clear whatever conversation we had at the first time and still now. Even I tried to conference the call with CITIBANK and merchant but they did not agree. I requested to the bank please send me one my singed scan copy where interest@18% has been charged because bank insisting that your merchant did the same and ask for interest. Still I have not received any copy from bank side.

I want interest should cut off from this transaction and converted into EMI.If I have singed any document where it was written 18% pa has been charged to you then it completely fine for me to pay the bank or the merchant. Merchant confirmed they do not changed any extra amount other that item value but bank insisting still that my merchant has charged this interest.Please take necessary step against CITIBANK as they fraud with customers and leived extra changed to the customer without noticed.
