Country Vacations Membership – Unsatisfactory Service

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Sudhir Samal, hold membership A/c no-CVBG2BGCLUB30LB140472, Dtd. March 10, 2013. It was a pleasure to meet your AMC staff Sukanti and Priya in your Indira Nagar office, Bangalore on Feb 06, 2016. Until date, neither I have paid AMC and nor availed any benefits. I have expressed them about my concern and dis-satisfaction along with the reasons.

Briefly I bring to your attention about the issue as follows,

During the registration time , your team leaders made false commitments. They told, once you pay the cheques and credit card payments , all will be converted to EMI with SBI , since I was having saving A/C with SBI.

After I paid , I did not get EMI in SBI. They told me to open an account with ICICI to avail EMI option, which was not possible. I lost almost Rs. 8000/- towards interest because the fund which I had earmarked for a site purchase , was eventually spent for Country Vacations , and I had to take further personal loan from Citibank to book the site.

There were almost 3 months communications between me with your Bangalore office in Sivajinagar, Rajaji Nagar, Tilakbati etc , with a copy to several customer care centre, it was sheer waste of my time. There was a gift that was broken inside, finally we also throw it in dustbin.

All your gift coupons etc are still unused, which I show to Sukanti and Priya. In 2013 Nov, I called your customer care officer to avail vacations , they told me and I also saw in net , almost all desired locations are booked except some unwanted location.

Please note, Your Sivajinagar people had told me that I can avail vacation just one month before the desired holidays.
Those people were Rehman and Team etc. The biggest mistake I did , I could have got it in writing the promises they were offering.

Thereafter, I have called your several people in several offices in Bangalore , all were invain. I have shown all the details to Sukanti and Priya. Also they had told , if we do not avail vacation for a particular year , we donot need to pay AMC , also not true.

If required, I shall pullout my previous communications with your office in 2013. Coming back to the point of our discussion of Feb 06, 2016 in Indiar Nagar office , where myself and my wife were in mind for cancellation of membership.

However, we heard Sukanti and Priya for some time to change our thought.
I understand, we have not availed followings,

1. 6 nights , 7 days in FY 13-14
2. 6 nights , 7 days in FY 14-15
3. 6 nights, 7 days in FY 13-14 in Bangkok
4. 2 nights 3 days in FY 14-15 in Dubai
5. 2 nights 3 days in FY 14-15 in Dubai .

Just for your information, we were told by your Sivajinagar office at the time of registration, that we will be given to and fro tickets and boarding in Bangkok and Dubai locations.

All were probably false promises. Sukanti says, that country vacations will like to waive the AMC of 14-15 and 15-16 , and re-activate the facility offered in above sl no-1 and 2.

She say , we can start paying the AMC for FY 16-17 , which falls due in March 2016.

We requested her to re-activate the facility in above sl no-3,4,5 , where as she expressed her inability to re-activate , rather requested us to bring to the attention of central customer care department. This is the primary reason; I have mailed you a lengthy reply.

Kindly let us know. Incase we decide to pay AMC, we need written clarity on some points points . If it is required to go for cancellation, is not an issue for us , we will send intimation to you to cancel our membership or transfer our membership. A sunk money is always a sunk money, we have to live with that.
