On 07 April 11, I have purchased 1.5 ton Daikin 3 star AC with model no FTE 50 KV 16 from the local sub dealer Chandra Air Conditioner Firozabad. Now I am telling you the whole happening after the purchase 1. Within that season, AC has worked fantastically. When Outer temp was around 45, Ac was making shivering cooling in the room at temp 28. 2. In the next season, When I stated AC, it did not work. The local sub dealer is also the mechanic. He told me that Cooling coil has leaked. 3. I contacted Agra Dealer. He also suggested me the repairing from local sub dealer. So Chandra Air Conditioner had repaired my cooling coil & charged me around Rs 3500. 4. His service is extremely bad. So i made an online complaint for the service. Mechanic from Agra Came to my home & serviced the AC. They charged me around Rs 600. For that season i,e: 2012-13. it worked just ok. Cooling was around Temp 23. 5. Now for this season, When I started AC , it did not work. When I enquire, it is found that cooling coil is totally damaged. 6. when I enquire about the cooling coil rate from Agra service center, it is around Rs 8000 & for a new internal unit it is around Rs 14500..

Now my grievances & questions arise. Please look at them carefully 1. After Daikin, in another room I made installation of HItachi 1.5 ton Spilit 3 star Ac. There was no cooling coil leakage from that AC till now. Hitachi is working excellently. Why leakage from Daikin within 13-14 months( They told me the reason that In firozabad there is much sulphur in the drains that is causing damage to cooling coil. If it is so then is sulphur damaging only Daikin AC, other companies AC is unaffected by Sulphur.) 2. If I decide to install a new cooling coil to my AC, will it again last for 13 – 14 months? 3. Should I go for spending again Rs 10000 next year. 4. Will this scenario continue till I retain this Daikin AC. I am a chemistry Professor. I am not able to understand the reaction of sulphur & copper. If you know, please provide me. I strongly believe that matter is of the Quality not of the so called hypothetic assumed sulphur. My sincere request to you that please change my internal unit at free of cost as it is the totally mismanagement from the company network & persons. I strongly perceive that you would take up my request positively.

I Forced to get changed the cooling coil. I have purchased it from Agra Dealer @ Rs 7877 on Saturday. Now it will be installed @ RS 2500. Total loss to me is as follows 1. Repairing of cooling coil in 13th month: RS 3500 2. New Coil Purchase: Rs 7877 3. Installation of new coil: Rs 2500 Total Damage: Rs 13877. Mental trauma: UNLIMITED ( In Summer it is operation less)
