This I am writing about my pending death claim against policy numbers 313240109 and 313240108. My husband Late Shri Sanjay Agarwal died on August 9, 2011 at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. At the time of death, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal went for morning walk where he fell down and got an injury in head and died immediately just before reaching the hospital. After reaching hospital Doctors declared him dead. Then I informed to the Police and Police taken the required necessary action and postmortem done by the Govt Doctors. An accidental claim against the policy no 313240109 and 313240108 was applied to LIC office allahabad after the death of Mr. Sanjay Agarwal with all supportive documents i.e. postmortem report, police report etc. After this I contacted to LIC office many times but no sufficient reply was given and the matter kept pending by the authorities with the excuse that my application is under process.

After a long period, I received a rejection letter without specifing the rejection cause from LIC Divisional Office Allahabad through letter reference number AD/Claims/Repudiation/ dated 31/5/2013. In this letter no specified rejection cause was given but only mentioned that “cause of death was not an accident”. After that I sent my represantation to LIC of India North Central Zonal Office, 16/98, M.G. Road, Kanpur. and again I received a letter through letter number NIL dated 03/03/2014 from LIC Zonal office Allahabad with the comment that my represantation has been rejected. Here again no reason was specified regarding the rejection. As the Postmortem and Police report clearly indicate the reasons sufficient for processing the death claim, therefore I am not satisfied with the response of LIC authorities. Sir/Madam, with extreme pain and dissatisfaction I want to request you to kindly consider my application of death claim and do the needful at the earliest.
