Sir/Madam, I used service of civil contractor from Thirumangalam, Chennai, for renovation of my home (ceiling water proof) at Adambakkam, Chennai,on May 2015 to 15th June 2015. Within 4 months ceiling was leaked in my bedroom due to small rain on 11th Oct 2015. I informed him immediately and he never turned up. I sent my grievance letter through “Speed Post” about his “deficiency” of service to his residence cum office was returned noted “REFUSED” on 17th Oct’2015. What to do now? what is the time period for registering my complaint with District Consumer forum? & what are the fees and formalities? Kindly guide me in this regard to prevent such builders should not cheat any other poor people in the name of builders. Thanking You, P. Hari Krishnan
