Dell India – Laptop Online Shopping – Review

Hi, I would like to draw your attention to the issue faced by me on account of pathetic service of Dell.com and its complete apathy towards the customer. I Placed a order for inspiron series laptop on 28th March and received an SMS that My order no. is 300132913, but failed to receive any communication even after 5 days of order placement, when checked the same on 2nd April (as my business was suffering) on the website the status was “order cancelled and shipment not created”, after that I tried frantically to contact the toll free number-18004252067(as given on the Dell website) and a person named Sourav received my call and forwarded to someone, then the other guy told me that he is there for the technical calls only and he forwarded the same to sales team and after holding for 10 minutes(total call duration-23 minutes) I received the prompt that thanks for calling Dell, then I immediately called again on the sales number-18004254043(as given on the Dell website) then again the same guy Sourav received my call and despite identifying me and my issues as the call was immediate no proper answer was given and not only that he misbehaved with me as well then again I called on the same no.

Although the call was picked up but no reply (The entire episode of conversation can be checked, my cell no.-+91 9234509332).Then I tried the compuindia(logistic partner of Dell) Toll free No.-18002670115 (as given on the Dell website) and to my horror the prompt received was ”the no. you have dialed is incorrect” and the same no. is displaying on the compu india website till today. Although I have bought my laptop from the market, but imagine the plight of other consumers.The issues are •Why no communication on order status was shared when my mail ID and contact no. was given while order placement. •Why no status of my order was shared when I tried all the contact numbers. •Why customer service executives are so ill equipped and clueless about customer issues. •Why wrong number is mentioned on the compuindia website. In this age of e-commerce when smallest of the smaller companies are delivering the products with the predefined timeline and communicating the delivery status to the customer at every step, the conduct of company like dell is dubious and substandard. I would certainly like to advise Dell people not to consider themselves as Brands as they are one of the most pathetic company of the world. Thanks&Regards Rajnish
