DTDC – Delay in delivery of product + bad customer service

I had given a parcel to deliver on 8th this month at the horamavu DTDC office. I was assured that the parcel would deliver within 2 days. However the parcel didnt reach the recipient till today. The consignment number provided cannot be even tracked in the DTDC website. I have been continuously following up with the customer care number provided by the lady sitting in the hormavu office Phno – 9141280050. The first day she asked me to sent her the consignment number via sms. Though i sent her, she didnt respond back. When I call her she disconnects the call and doesnt even care to reply on the status of the delivery of product. Highly unprofessional and unethical behavior from the employee. I also sent a mail to the ‘css.bangalore@dtdc.com’ to find out on the delivery status, there is no reply from their side either. DTDC customer service is very bad, they dont value the customer at all. what is the point of providing contact number in the receipt? Or saying that we can track the status online or by calling to the number provided. I would never recommend DTDC service her after. Because they dont value customers at all. The lady holding this number 9141280050 should learn some basic manners on how to attend calls or atleast reply back in a better way than simply disconnecting the call.
