R/s This office with AIN-1007591, TAN-HYDJ00028A has promptly filed the e-TDS in r/o defence persons. since last year the number of employees under tax, has been increased also as per the new guidelines details of all the employee has to be uploaded(including nil tax employees). This office has more than one lac employees every month( i.e 4 lacs records each quarter) and your RPU 3.8/3.9/4.0 or FVU ver 4.1/4.2/4.3 not supporting for the same. In addition to the above this office is facing unique problems mentioned as under: 1. In the month of Jan/Feb2014 as per the directions of IT dept tax@20% was deducted on GROSS SALARY for employees who does not have PAN No and the same was booked under 24G Receipt No:-1045785 and 2049692 respectively. and the corresponding schedules have been prepared in RPU version 3.8 (FVU 4.1) and submitted on 29/04/2014(pdf attached) but the same was rejected with msg “RPU ver 3.9(FVU 4.2) from 27/04/2013 onwards” again the file was prepared in RPU version 3.9 (FVU 4.2) on 13/05/2014 and the same was uploaded at NSDL agency.

However the schedules or file earlier validated was correct in all respect and checked thoroughly but on copying the same at RPU 3.9 (FVU 4.2) the tax deposited column was left blank and defaulted the short payment. it could not be understood how the tax deposited column was not copied and also the scroll in RPU 3.9 was not responded. it may be due to large number of deductee records and hence could not be verified at our end. And it it not understood as to how the file/schedules were accepted by NSDL without verifying the Tax Deposited Column and Tax deducted column mismatch. It seems that the RPU version 3.9 has some limitations technically and is not complete in all respects and is not allowing to file update/correction consequently. Correction file for Q4 of 2013-14 was uploaded on 02-07-2014 in the latest RPU Ver 4.0 but the same was rejected by TDS CPC stating the reason mismatch of verification keys with that of original file. a mail in this regard vide ticket no;3167 dtd:04-07-2014 and the same was reopened on 14-07-2014 for which the reply is still awaited. the present RPU version 4.0 is not allowing to insert more than three lac repeat three lacs records where as this office is having around 4 lac records for Q1 of 2014-15FY.
