Eureka Forbes – Replacement Part under warranty period delay

I had purchased a water purifier “Forbs Aquasure Xpert” of Aquaguard from Reliance digital store at NSC Bose Road, Kolkata-700047 on 23rd Nov. 2013. On digital screen of the water purifier we viewed the UV lamp life status of 95%, 15- 20 days ago, accordingly we lodged a complaint with Eureka Forbes with complain no.-77000972. Again after 2 days an error code of 3 with beep sound flashed on the LCD display and accordingly we once again lodged a complaint with Eureka Forbes with complain no.-77090935. Eureka Forbes personnel came on 8th and 9th July 2014 to rectify the same but when they came to know that the purifier was purchased from Reliance digital store, they suggested us to call reliance digital service center as they were authorized to provide service in this matter. Accordingly on 9th July 2014, we called Reliance service center on 033-24997xxx but they informed us that Eureka Forbes will provide the service and didn’t lodge our complaint. We then called up the reliance store on 033-24997xxx to get a clear idea as to who would repair the machine. They informed us that reliance shall provide the service. Further they assured us that the complaint will be raised on our behalf and the machine will get repaired in the next 48 hours. But nothing happened, we again called up the service center on 033-24997xxxx on 13th July, explained the matter as above and lodged our complaint with docket number: 8003469xxx. They assured to provide service in the next 48 hours. But nothing happened again, we again called up the service center on 033-24997078 on 15th July to check the status of the same, they gave us another number to call and check the status. We called up on this number and again we were given assurance but till date no one has come from Reliance to change the UV lamp.

1. Immediately Replacement of UV lamp etc. or replacement of the machine. 2. Cancellation of AMC and refund of entire AMC amount from Reliance resQ which will be effective from 24.11.2014 till 23.11.2015 in view of poor service from reliance and return back of AMC amount. 3. Compensation of Rs 2000/- because of unnecessary financial loss occurred due to non maintenance of water purifier.
