Ezoneonline – LG Dealer Not Delivering Product

I had purchased a refrigerator from Ezoneonline 15 days back (on 17th Aug’14) under cash back scheme with HDFC bank credit card. Post purchase, I had got the confirmation that order is ready for dispatch. However, today, on day of delivery they have cancelled the order stating they are out of stock. Although, I can see it available online even now. It is now available for Rs 51,490/- and I had bought the same for Rs 35,991 (Rs 39,990 – 10% cash back under HDFC scheme) 15 days back. Ezone is fooling consumers showing attractive schemes and then later cancels the orders so that consumers have to buy the same product at a higher price from them. In order to avail that scheme, I & my family had spent lot of efforts and time, & I have a house warming ceremony scheduled this week. At last moment, Ezone has informed me (that too on reminder mail sent by me for delivery details) that they are out of stock and cannot dispatch. I have spoken with 3-4 Ezone customer care executive (Ivone, Rubina, Ashish) and sent them no of mails today, but they are blunt to reply back we cant do anything. The attitude of Ezone staff members has been callous and has demonstrated that customers can be taken for granted.

I want an example to be set for all these eCommerce sites who take consumers for granted and can be easily fooled. 1st preference – Delivery of the same product ordered by me at the earliest or 2nd preference – Compensate for the increase in the price of the product plus mental harassment caused.
